MY BEST CAREER TRAINING

Hello everyone.

In the career of forestry, the students have many career training along their studies. So, the students can know the diversity of ecosystems of Chile. Also, the students have the possibility to test the abilities that they have learned during the year. 

As a student of forestry at the University of Chile, I have been able to know Coquimbo (Coquimbo Region), Frutillar (Los Lagos Region), Pantanillos (Maule Region), and a lot of other incredibles places.

Now I'll talk about my favorite career training. Well it's very hard to make a decision about this topic, but I can say that my favorite carrer training was during the summer of 2017: “The training 2”. In the training 2, the whole class travelled to Coquimbo, Valparaiso, Metropolitan Region, Coquimbo, and Malleco!. What a lot of places!, I think that the diversity of places that I could know is the main reason for loving the training 2.

The amount of weeks spent on these training was four weeks, and we were able to discover about the silviculture on the arid and semirarid zones, ecology of Nothofagus forests, ecological succession of the forest, and a lot of other important things. Not all was beautiful during the “training 2”, because the work was very very hard and the conditions of the lodgement were not the best, but it is only a detail.

POST GRADUATE STUDIES

Hello everyone.

Today I'll talk about post graduate studies. What a difficult topic for me. It's always been difficult to me to make importants decisions. Even, I had difficulties for making a desicion for my under-graduate career!. So, making a desicion for my post graduate studies is complicated. Nowadays I dont have a desicion about if take or no take a post graduate studies.

I think I can specialize in an interesting topic for me even in a job, without the necesity to take a post graduate studies. So, before making a desicion I want try luck in a job, only with my under-graduate studies (Forestry).

In the event of taking a post graduate course, I would like it to be about one of the next topics:

-Wildlife
-Wild protected areas
-Landscape architecture

In addittion, if in the future I take a post graduate course, I would like it to be in Spain, because that country is very atractive for me, so I could enjoy like a tourist and study at the same time!.

As you will have noticed, I dont have a desicion about the topic of post graduate studies, so I have less idea about the type of post graduate studies (certificates, diplomas, master's degrees or other) that I would like to take. Please dont ask me about that. I have the same problem on the mode of study (distance learning, blended system, part-time course, etc).

My future job

Hello everyone.

Today I'll talk to you about the job I'd like to have going forward.  In this regard, first of all I can say that I am not very clear, but I have some ideas on this subject. I would like to have a job very close to nature, to be able to have daily physical contact with nature.

I like so many topics, but they are all related to Chilean ecosystems, so I would definitely like my future job to be related to these places. For example, in future, I would like to job in some state-protected wilderness area (SNASPE) of Chile.

I think the work of a forestry engineer should have office job and land job (indoor and outdoor), but mostly I would like to spend time out there, in the forest or some place with nature.

It would be great to be able to travel within of my future job, especially to areas with wild nature, or unkowed places of Chile Central (I love these region of Chile).

Obviously, within my future job, I would like to make a lot of contributions, I think feeling useful within something is very important. If to make contributions in my future jobI should do some major, I would not hesitate to take it, in fact, I have already thought of some majors that I am interested to take.

Finally, I would like to comment that I do not expect much financial remuneration, only what is necessary to have a quiet life.

My favourite videogame

Hello everyone.

Today I will talk about my favourite videogame ever: Red Dead Redemption. This game is about “cowboys”. The story of Red Dead Redemption happens on the old west of the United States of America. It's a game released for Xbox 360 and Play Station 3 in 2009, it's amazing all the time it's been!.  

Red Dead Redempton was development by Rockstar, the same company that developed Grant Theft Auto (GTA) games. So, you can imagine that this game is like GTA, but from the old west, although in my opinion, Red Dead Redemption is above, because RDR have a deep history, a great photography work, an epic cool music and a simple and immersive gameplay.

This game is a game in wich the protagonist is John Marston, a Cowboy, but also a ex-thief that need seek his family. For that purpose John must cross United States, fight with police, survive to the climate of the desert, and more.

The best part of Red Dead Redemption is the end, is a part of the story full of  emotions. I won't tell them what's going on this part, but I can say that is epic and sad.

Red Dead Redemption is one of the few games I've played to the end (I'm not much a gamer person), but this game really gets me caught and I get excited.

I recommend them to everyone who wants true quality by a game, it is a jewel.

A TEACHER THAT HAS INSPIRED ME

Hello everyone.

Today I will talk to you about a professor who inspired me.Final del formulario

The person I will talk about was my music teacher at the secondary school. Really, I don't exactly remember his name, but I think that his surname was "Valenzuela".

He was a man of about 35 years, doctorate in music at the Catholic University of Chile. His specialty was the guitar, and I can say with certainty that has been the best guitarist i've seen. In addition, this teacher knew touching any other instrument very well, it was impressive.

Well, the because of inspired me is due to his skill with musical instruments, but also to her human side.

This teacher always motivated us to learn things of music, always came saying joke, and he was always very polite. In addition he conducted workshops that were of very high quality. I also remember, that this professor was in charge of the “fondas” of the school, organized students to do shows to the community at that event. All this without any personal interest, I hereby attest to this.

In addition to everything he did at our school, and added in his family tasks, he was studying to be a doctor (medic) at the Catholic University! I think that this teacher was a kind of mentally gifted.

In conclusion, a professor extremely professional, I only have acknowledgments for him.

One of my best holidays!

Hello everyone.

Today I will speak of an unforgettable experience. I will talk about the best holidays I’ve ever had (it is difficult to choose one). 

My best holidays occurred during the summer of this year. With my girlfriend we traveled on a improvised way to Valdivia. We wanted to know not very visited localities in Los Ríos Region. In these places we stayed camping for one week (I should mention that I love to sleep in a tent). From our campsite, we went out every day to beautiful tourist attractions, like:

-Fortress builts in XVI century.

-National Parks and National Rerserves.

-Street markets.

-Rivers.

-Beaches

-Many others things!

Also, during our visit to Valdivia, it rained with intensity some days, so, those days we stayed inside the tent watching movies and sleeping.

I really enjoyed this holidays because I did it with a person I love very much, I met beautiful landscapes and we didn’t spend too much money.

I liked the experience so much that I would like to repeat it, because I missed many places to visit.

Spain: Messi, paella.

Hello everyone!

In my life I’ve just travelled abroad in just one oportunity, and that experience was very short. For that, I’d like to visit a country for more time. The country I’d like to visit in first option is Spain.

Spain’s in Europe, and the Capital of Spain is Madrid. The population is 46.934.600 people and Spain is a country with a high IDH. Additionaly, Spain is a country with a lot of culture thanks to its great history, and that means a lot of funny things to do in Spain!.

Now, I’ll write the reasons I have to like Spain. First of all, Spain is the birthplace of Spanish! (my tongue), in Spain we can find lots of tongues that derived of the Spanish, like the Catalán for example, and that fact is very interesting for me (I really like the spanish language).

Another reason is that I have a huge curiosity for tasting a legitime paella of Spain. Paella is a meal that was born in Valencia, and the basics ingredients of paella are chicken, rabbit, green bean,  pallar (a specie of bean), tomato, rice, olive soil, water and salt. Lovely ingredients for a lovely meal!.

In addition, the best footballer of all of time plays in the Spanish league of football: Lio Messi. I dont need too many words to explain that it’s a huge reason to go to Spain.

But, I would like to comment that I’ll just go to Spain like a tourist for a short time, because my place for living is ChileJ.
